WORDLAND 3

[b]wordland 3[/b] is exactly the same as [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/dohi64/recommended/1599690]the first game[/url] and [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/dohi64/recommended/1640760]the second[/url], essentially another level pack, so I posted pretty much the same review for it. it's still a great word game/crossword/tetris hybrid. there are various shapes with letters on a grid and they have to be arranged to form all the words described on the bottom. no diagonals, only left to right or downward, but they don't all have to be connected to each other. in fact, the game accepts layouts that wouldn't fly in a real crossword (e.g. 'sir' horizontally, 'pure' above it vertically, so it's technically 'purei' but it's fine here). [b]100 levels[/b] unlocked one by one, the [b]3 difficulty levels[/b] control the amount of revealed letters (more on easy, only the first letter on normal, none on hard). there's no indication of any of this in the game, and what will drive achievement people up the wall is playing on hard doesn't unlock easy and normal achievements, so 3 full playthroughs for them, while the rest of us can enjoy playing however we please. Very relaxing word puzzle game. The music and background images gave an unique atmosphere to a game like this. Definitely recommend.

By far the most wild and nonsensical crossword hints we've ever seen. The only way I can imagine these were made by hand is if the designer didn't speak English and tried to translate them. Half the puzzles are just frustratingly bad and leave you guessing random words until something fits.

Zup! Z gives you 512 achievements in less than 90 minutes of gameplay, but for some reason this enjoyable word game with double the content is "too small" to have the 100% achievements count towards your total. Valve is fickle, its judgement is irrational and harsh. Still worth playing.
