KOEI TECMO's idea of fun that has never changed since Nioh 1: *The boss should spam it's attacks, deal fast and insane damage, does AOE as almost as big as the map itself, instantly dodge the player's attack out of nowhere *The same 3 maps must be used over and over again with pointless purposes of missions *30 FPS cutscenes *Useless NPC summons *Battle Flag exploration system being tied to your power level should be considered a crime

If you like eastern martial arts and want to play a game about it, this is a great one. The game today is way better than when it launched. They patched it a lot and solved all the major issues. It's sad the people didn't revisit it to update the reviews.

[h1]The Bag of Paprika Chips[/h1] Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is not a bad game. It's best described as a Romance of the Three Kingdoms based loot-focussed Souls-lite spectacle fighter, but unfortunately its not really doing anything meaningful with those descriptors. You get a ton of loot drops, but dealing with those is a chore. Not only due to the sheer amount, but also because of a startling lack of variety in drops. There's many different weapons as shown on the wiki (more with the dlcs), but you'll be getting the same ring pommel sword model over and over again, just with a few differences in stars and equipped abilities. Selling and salvaging the rest is a chore as you only have 500 inventory slots total and that's for items too. Enemy variety is extremely limited, bosses are continually reused and combat is very samey outside of gimmick bosses like Taotie. Too much focus on spectacle, not enough on substance though there's a few fights like Zhang Liao that do give something of a challenge, if not much. The end result is a game like a bag of paprika chips, you may enjoy bits of it, but it won't wow you. It has a ton of slog, an overly easy final boss and just too many checkl…

Pretty good combat but imo since the game is that old considering the rival games have really good graphics also considering the price they should have used better engine with improved visuals aside from that enjoyed the game

The game stopped working with playstation controllers for some reason, haven't been able to play it again since, and no troubleshooting steps I've found online have been able to resolve it. Just a dead game in my library...

Its really neat they let make a wish kids make games now, but its pretty messed up to charge and then pretend they are real, functional, playable, fun, working, good, worth buying and not utterly incompetent garbage. if i got given this game for free, it would still be a scam hate this game, have tried multiple times over years to give it a chance and i am in the wrong for ever trying once, it never deserved it and never will. maybe the sequal will be good but if THIS is what they can do then doing nothing at all would be better.
