The gameplay involves strategic placement of units on a tactical board to gain advantages, followed by real-time combat with unique piece attacks. None of this is implemented remotely well and the game was dead on arrival. Despite being unable or just too lazy to bother actually making their game, they had all the time in the world to create greedy cash grab DLCs for the game. Appalling. So, Wyrmicide is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". it's actually quite cool and interesting but it has some problems. since it's an indie it's difficult to have a live multiplayer so the singleplayer needs to carry it and currently it's unbalanced and way too easy. Edit: the dev listens to feedback and bug report, now the difficulty is much more balanced
