About Zap Zap Zombie Cats

You are one of the few survivors of a zombie cat-pocalypse. With only your wits, your weapons, and a few turrets, you must defend yourself from the hordes of zombie-cats that come at night. Grenade, blast, shoot, heal, and place traps to survive each wave until safety comes with the sunlight.

This is Zap Zap Zombie Cats. A mix between a turret defense game and an FPS. Gameplay is split into two parts: a day portion where you must build and upgrade various turrets during the day to prepare for the night invasion, and a night portion where you take place in the action from a stationary position atop your base. During this stage, you can switch between 3 various cats, each with a different weapon and ability to utilize against the horde.

Zap Zap was made from a team of college students looking to gain experience and learn about the game-making process. We know the game won't be perfect, but we hope to improve our skills and greatly appreciate any and all feedback from players.

Positive: ✅ Free to play and easy to launch for casual sessions. Retro pixel action where you defend against zombie cats with basic weapons and turrets. You can still play a small portion of the game despite the issues. Negative: ⚠️ Most achievements (14 out of 15) are currently unobtainable, making full completion impossible. ⚠️ Gameplay is repetitive and very simple compared to other shooters. ⚠️ Limited modes, basic presentation, and minor bugs reduce the overall experience. 🏆 Completionists & Achievement Hunters: Only 1 achievement is obtainable ✅, which can be unlocked quickly (around 10–20 minutes). The rest are broken or missing, so trying to complete the game fully is currently impossible. Overall: Zap Zap Zombie Cats is a quirky free action game with a cute theme, but the broken achievement system and repetitive gameplay make it hard to recommend at this time. ⚠️

Геймплей линейный, с минимальной сложностью, идеален для расслабленного времяпрепровождения. Плюсы — забавные персонажи, доступность и короткие уровни. Минусы: однообразие механики и отсутствие глубины. Подойдет для детей или любителей легких головоломок. Не ожидайте шедевра, но развлечься можно.
