Mobile Astro is a retro arcade top to bottom space shooter game. The game is pretty simple and there isn't all that much gameplay to it. Although fun at first, it quickly gets repetitive after 30 mins or so. However, since the game is free to begin with, the first 30 mins of minor entertainment are worth the $0 that I paid.

Mobile Astro is a simple twin stick shooter that feels like it was made to give me a quick burst of old school arcade action. I am flying through space, shooting waves of enemies and trying to survive long enough to clear each stage. There is no huge story getting in the way and there is not a complicated progression system to learn. I just move, aim and shoot. That simplicity actually works pretty well because I can start playing almost immediately and the game makes it clear what I am supposed to do. The shooting is the strongest part for me. I am constantly moving around while aiming in a different direction, which gives the basic controls more to think about than a normal side scrolling shooter. Enemies come at me in waves and I have to watch where I am moving instead of just holding down the fire button. There are also three weapon upgrades that give me a little more power as I go, which helps when the number of enemies starts building up. The five boss fights are where the game becomes more demanding, since I have to learn their attacks and find safe places to move. Монетизация не агрессивная, но ускорители прогресса за донат все же присутствуют.
