Master cooperative teamwork, collect powerful artifacts that unlock unique abilities, and customize your adventurer's style while tackling challenging stages and arcade mini-games.
Work together with your friends to take on a variety of challenges. Effective cooperation and strong teamwork are the only ways forward. Whether it's facing powerful enemies or tackling complex puzzles, you'll need to work together to triumph!
Color plays a crucial role in this fantastical world. It is key to everything from puzzle solving to combat. You'll need to switch colors to activate mechanisms and solve puzzles, and shoot Pomu gel in different colors to change the surroundings and impact enemies. Master the techniques of color switching and match-3 shooting to overcome puzzles and defeat enemies!
During the journey, you will acquire items known as super artifacts. Examples of these wondrous artifacts include Rollo the Bomb, Captain Kitty, Barrier Bot, and Power Kid. Each of them grants you a unique ability that helps remove obstacles and solve puzzles in your adventure.
The adventure isn't just about combat; it's also about showcasing your style! Pick from a selection of gear and cosmetics in the Closet and combine them to create your unique looks. Then you can set off on the journey in your personalized style!
In addition to the exciting battles and engaging puzzles, the game includes a number of enjoyable mini-games. Head to the in-game arcade room for some lighthearted arcade fun during breaks from the main stages.

VERY FUN GAME! Super polished, the music is great, and the mini games (specifically meowtopia) provide a good amount of fun and reasons to keep playing them if you're chasing high scores. Played this all the way through with my wife and we had a blast. Little to no bugs and if any just a simple restart from check point fixed it (this only happened once). The puzzles aren't extremely hard but still very fun to engage with and complete and the bosses were awesome despite some repetitiveness here and there. Our only gripe for the most part is that certain costumes are locked behind the party/freeplay mode which can not be done with 2 people. I don't understand why that is the case but it really sucks because some of those costumes are nice. Trying to remote play with a 3rd person results in a very small screens that are not comfortable to play with and the only viable option seems to be having players 3-4 own their own copies of the game so the screen is actually usable. Other than that just playing the stories and mini games I def recommend this for couples or for just 2p co-op in general.1 found this helpful

Love this game. Very cute
Popucom is one of the most creative coop-titles I have ever played. Almost every level a new mechanic is introduced to solve the puzzles. The fights in between are fun and engaging. Boss fights can be tough, but are never unfair. On top of an engaging and varied coop-story mode, the game throws one great coop-mini game after another at you. My friend and I are left HUNGERING for more levels of the genius mini-game "Captain Bunnies Showdown", a mix of Tetris and Plants VS Zombies. You could EASILY make a full price title out of that mini-game. Just give us 200 more levels PLEASE! TLDR: Popucom is fantastic. And if you have a friend and like to play action-puzzle-coop games, this is a must must must buy.
