Sackboy™: A Big Adventure

Ugh back in the days of regular safe playstation. I didn't grow up on Pc, I grew up on Ps. This game feels old, in such a beautiful way. It's giving the fun back to the people. I miss Sackboy so much, and when they replaced him with astrobot. I hate that little ai centre. Sack boy is better, and this game proves it. If you love platformers and games for the family. This is it. Great for all ages.

[h1]Does not meet expectations[/h1] The game intended [spoiler]I presume[/spoiler] for children does not forgive players' mistakes and sets unreasonably high challenges to obtain satisfying "notes". Furthermore, it blocks the endgame content for those who did not spend time in endless trials to get special "currency". I cannot criticize the plot as I have not had any expectations regarding it. But it definitely [b]must not[/b] be sold for 60€. The only undisputable advantage is the music - it tries at least to help you enjoy the levels.

The biggest part, of what made this game series great: The creative mode. I thought OFC they will add it... but they not. This most likely is a common thing and I am deeply frustrated and sorry about the refund. It's just... Little Big Planet 2 was my childhood game and i was so happy when a full 3d version got released... and now, the biggest and best thing, a create mode, is not integrated. I am very unhappy with my purchase and have requested a refund. I feel devastated...

The controller support is simply awful. After 30 minutes i gave up - i was unable to use my Xbox controllers in this game. Its a 4 year old release, and the game is in this state? Its a 60 EUR game in 2026, and I cannot pass the main screen. Whats wrong with you Sumo/Sony?

Very fun to play in couch coop with a friend. The only downside is the forced camera perspective, which sometimes makes you misjudge distances and fall down. (Note: the camera problem disappears if you play in 3D, e.g. with the Unreal engine VR injector by praydog. Works like a charm, but then you can't really play couch coop - though online multiplayer should still be fine.)
