✦ AI summary

Esports Manager 2026 draws praise from CS esports fans who enjoy the team-building, tactical customization, and satisfying progression systems, with players noting that developers are responsive to community feedback and regularly implement quality-of-life improvements. However, the recent patch 1.13 introduced a problematic FOV feature that significantly disrupted gameplay, with players reporting that character positioning and targeting no longer make sense, causing frustration severe enough to drive some away until it's fixed or removed.

Esports Manager 2026 is Football Manager if the athletes were allergic to sunlight, allergic to practice, and somehow still worth a six-figure buyout. You do not play the shooter. You play the group chat. You sign a rifler, a lurker, an IGL who thinks mid control is a personality, and then you spend three weeks begging them not to tilt after one bad Ancient. The loop is nasty in a good way. Scout. Lowball. Promise minutes. Watch morale drop because you put them on Nuke. Call a timeout in a live sim like it matters. Sometimes it does. Sometimes your entry walks into a smoke like he is looking for his keys. You still lean in, because that is your roster and you built that disaster on purpose. It is not polished. Ratings get weird. The match engine will do something stupid and you will scream at a menu. Then you win a qualifier with a washed AWPer and a kid you found in some tier-three graveyard and suddenly the spreadsheets feel like a documentary about your taste. Buy it if you have ever watched a Major and thought, “I could run that org better.” You cannot. That is why it slaps.

It's a game, that should be a lot better than it actually is. The negatives/improvements: - The quick sim is a joke, the percentage of a win makes no sense. - Sponsors are unrealistic at an early stage off the game, major overhaul on that needed. - Some staff need additional buffs and to be more realistic. I have no idea why the pr manager wants to do a team event right before a tournament (it hurts your win percentage massively). - Player development is tedious, its easier to buy ready made players. - No save and load system... (just an autosave). - The bases are stupidly expensive and should be reduced heavily at 3*+. - Form needs to be sorted, it increases and decreases rapidly rather than gradually. - The training system for maps should be increased to 4 or at least 50%. Positives - Tournaments are balanced and fair. (I managed to get a create an organisation to tier 2 in 4 seasons). - The 2d maps are fun (though AI is a joke... but can't overly complain). - you can complete a year between 1 to 2 hours on quick sim. - it's addictive and frustrating, but that's like real life cs2 tournaments... Overall its okay... but needs a lot of balancing and minor tweaks. I'd recommen…

This is the worst "manager" Game i've ever had the displeasure of playing by far. this is for a few main reasons. 1. The In Game AI is absolutely atrocious, their decisions make literally 0 sense any of the time - things like running away from the bomb in a 4v2 retake, running solo through smokes, running into their own molly and burning to death (4 of 5 players doing this at once) - they throw execute utility when they are on site, not before? The ct's dont have default positions that they play and the t's just sit there until exec and dont play the game (i watched a t side sit in inferno kitchen as a 5 for 1 min 30 before running up banana at 20 vs and eco and dying without a single kill) 2. Balancing: Frankly, the balancing in this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ atrocious. it actively doesnt matter who you are playing vs and who with, every round is literally just a coinflip. i've beaten vitality with a team of 2 stars, and lost to a literal team of faceit players on a reborn north roster as furia 13-1. it seems alot due to reputation, and if a player/team isnt regarded highly, they will just lose no matter the skill difference, in the north example, they are on a 6 game winstreak, wh…
