A cute HO saga that started here. Eventide is just one of those typical Artifex Mundi games. Plot can be cheesy and predictable and ends up being just filler plot to advance the game. Most puzzles are fine, and while a couple of HO scenes get repeated, they are generally not just a list of items to find but also integrate a couple of small puzzles in them. Collectibles are par for the course, with the only caveat that a couple of the notes are missable if you rush through, and needed for one achievement. It includes the expected bonus adventure once you beat the main quest, which adds a nice prequel story using some of the same backgrounds from before, but changed enough to provide new puzzles. Worked well, visuals are fine, there's cool 3d animations for a lot of item manipulations and cutscenes are not overly long. Recommended if you enjoy this type of game.

As a Slav myself, I can't but rate Eventide positively. Personal bias aside, a charming hidden object game which you can complete in one sitting.

A HOG you've come to expect. Same style puzzles, point and click problem solving (some more convoluted than others), and hidden object rooms. One thing that bothered me (i play on expert) is it didn't tell me when a hidden scene needed to be repeated. There was also a note that became miss-able if not clicked immediately after completing the scene. As a completionist this irritated me to have to look up what I missed for the bookworm achievement, after a second play through FOCUSING on cards and notes. But charming enough and if this is your style game, you'll enjoy it!

I would recommend this games for all ages. The Slavic creatures are entertaining and the puzzles are not to difficult. I would love to see a sequel.
