About Disminal

✦ AI summary

Disminal is a first-person exploration experience through the eerie, liminal spaces of the backrooms where you wander vacant and unsettling corridors searching for an exit. It prioritizes atmospheric immersion and aesthetic dread with a special MPEG distortion mode that mimics real low-quality video artifacts to deepen the unease.

wandering into the uncanny concept of liminality, captured in DV tape format you explore what seems to be another dimension, lost in an endless space that looks human-made but isn't.

the game is really good. only complaints are fix the controller settings, fix the experimental VHS affect, and make the running faster. other than that it works on Steam-deck and is really fun to walk around in. PS: the only part I don't like in the game, is the beginning part. in my opinion, just make it start with the og backrooms.

Great game Walking Simulator for sure in backrooms theme I didn't find any jump scares so I assume there are none!

I enjoyed it. A nice short experience. The poolroom area was dropping FPS like it was its job, but other than that an enjoyable experience.

Really good, very underrated, and infinity frequencies makes some of the best liminal tracks
