Decent game for me but don't really have a worth to play new game plus.

Hints: Play on Easy mode. Buy Craleef. Seriously. It's an antidote. Don't pick thunder as your first offensive element. - Why play on Easy mode? Normal feels like a slog. Every enemy begins to become a damage sponge and battles take too long. Haven't touched Hard mode as it sounds like pain and suffering. - Every enemy in battle has a weakness. Wrong magic used = absorbs your magic or does 0 damage. It's up to you to find out what. - Why craleef? Because poison doesn't go away and enemies like to cast it often. - Why not thunder? In the first dungeon, Lily will heal the enemies with her basic attack. Plus, you can't change your elements until mid game when you have coins to spend. + The puzzles are tough. They'll make you scratch your head, but they're not impossible. + Dungeons become a bit more complicated during mid game, but they become tamer by the end of the game. - Too much stuff on the floor. You're always blocked by useless objects. - Magic has to be crafted, and you need to fight enemies for their drops. - AOE magic is LOUD! This game used the furry image before it became mainstream

I recieved this game many years ago as part of some bundle for RPG Maker, and I decided to play it because I was looking for something straightforward with a more lighthearted theme. I am currently in the final dungeon of the game, but I feel like I've seen enough to be able to write this review now. Light story spoilers tagged. Minor (?) update: I just finished the game. Of course I hit too many healing orbs while trying to dodge enemy encounters, so reminder to save often if you are aiming for that achievement. The final dungeon [spoiler]attempts to redeem the antagonist in an incredibly dark way, like I know content warnings were not super big in 2014 but yikes dude[/spoiler]. The penultimate boss spams spells that target the whole party and just sucks. Final boss is actually not that bad because [spoiler]he has access to every spell, which means a higher likelihood he'll pick a weaker one[/spoiler]. Also a tip, the second phase becomes easier if you just leave alone [spoiler]the green minions that cast Blind since that is the least obtrusive status and just focus on the others and the boss himself[/spoiler]. The art and music is better than a lot of RPGMaker games I've seen, but the gameplay is not fun.
