Silent Descent is a fairly basic Unity kitbashed first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store assets, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. In fairness a small amount of effort was put into trying to turn what are almost certainly other people's Unity assets into a "game"... a completely awful one. Basically a ripoff of Kojima's Silent Hill teaser, "P.T."... you walk down the same badly arranged "house" corridor (no house is laid out like that) and find hidden stuff etc every time you walk down it. Like Groundhog Day, but unfunny and completely crap. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Very little in this game is truly the creation of the "developer", it's just a bunch of rearranged assets. The other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, …

I don`t like it at all, Gameplay is super boring and levels are very empty and boring too also puzzles very boring stuff so horrible game in my opinion. Story is very basic/non memorable nothing special and game freezes on the final level two times found fix it on steam discussions. 2/10 on this one of the worst experiences i have played.

It's fine. Pretty short and not exactly what I would call "refined" but it's creepy enough to give you an hour or so of entertainment.
