Jagged Alliance: Rage!

I wish this game gets the mod support like jagged alliance 3.

Not sure why this game has such a negative score, twas a nice experience and im on my 3rd playthrough

First note: The first video currently on steam store for this game, has overlap voice lines. "rated M for mature" and what sounds like, " A E A E ". So I see a lot of reviews saying "not like original JA games". And it isn't. It is a more streamlined version. I actually like the UI more as I hate reading so much and just want to play. But during the opening campaign, the music was so loud I couldn't hear the voice lines. SO I pressed Esc to go to menu and turn down volume. Also made a save. But after changing the volume, you can't get back into the game. Esc again does nothing. Continue button does nothing. Loading the last save point puts you in an eternal load screen with spinning circle. I played for 20 minutes, enjoyed those 20 mins but if it bugs this fast, and many reviews say it is buggy, "im gunna pas". Uninstalled it.

Holy horrible gameplay. Controls and sloooow nature of the movement is not good. Played JA:3, had problems but enjoyed. This is pretty terrible.

I'm not biased by previous JA games, so no comparisons here. I enjoy most of tactical games like this and this one is no different. It is rough on the edges, but I like a bit oldschool action movie style and some mechanics like infection and dehydration are interesting. Not a masterpiece, but if you get it on sale like I did, you should not regret it, unless you are hardcore JA fan (as I heard they hate it). For me it's solid 6.5/10 - so "not too bad" as Shadow would say. Linux bug free.
