Lead a mercenary squad through a war-torn nation in tactical turn-based combat, recruiting unique characters with distinct personalities and building your team as you loot weapons and customize gear. Your choices shape Grand Chien's fate as you control territory, train locals, and battle The Legion across an open world that you can tackle solo or with friends in co-op.
In Jagged Alliance 3, select from a huge cast of mercenaries all with their own unique personalities, quirks, and backstories. Then go out and explore Grand Chien as you meet new people, earn money, grow your team, and ultimately make your own decisions that will decide the country’s fate.

Highly recommend this game. JA3 brought back beloved memories of JA2. Also made me nostalgic, reminded me of Commandos 2 and Fallout Tactics. JA3 deserves to be put in a Hall of Fame, fantastic!2 found this helpful
There is certainly some jank here, which is pretty standard for a Jagged Alliance game. That said, it's some of the best squad based combat you'll find. The setting is great. Game runs well on the steam deck. Do yourself a favour and go to the workshop to install a few mods: Hit percentage, gun rebalance, better UI are al good for a start. I did install the cheat mod just so that I could respec on my first run so that I could try out different builds. Don't let the first few missions fool you, you'll get powerful quickly and it'll start to get more diverse and fun.2 found this helpful

Not as good as JA 2 Wildfire, but it's okay
