I love how the game does risk and reward very well. Instead of quickly rushing down monsters, you can take your time, and go for chest unlocks. Sure it might make you take some hits, but it can be highly rewarding. Same with the shovel and handle system, you can fix a handle early on to gain power quickly, or go for risky upgrades that might take a while to complete. These decisions make each run feel unique and interesting. Overall, the game feels really good to play. Merging gems is satisfying, and discovering broken synergies is always a treat. A buried gem waiting to be uncovered.

Fun game. Whatever genre suica game was. There are a lot of fun mechanics and unlockables, and overall the game has a pleasant atmosphere and a good soundtrack. Your first run can be a bit daunting, but you get the hang of it after a run or two. Definitely worth trying.

A fun roguelike Suika game with great art and fun music. Great variety of item combinations between the shovels and handles. Very recommended for fans of roguelike games.

Its a good little rogue-like, it has balance issues and some visual bugs, but nothing game ending/ruining (i.e my character portrait would get messed up sometimes). The runs are fairly short and the loop is fairly different then the many other rogue-likes. It has some variance in the boards/crates you use and the characters ability + starting decks provide some variety. Regarding balance, some shovels (i.e artifacts/relics in other games) are way better than others, and the only times I lost were when the early shovels were bad (i.e couldn't get any strength increases). But that is part of rogue-likes and expected for the small (I believe 1 person) team.

A promising hidden gem of a game, though somewhat lacking in polish and clarity. No less lustrous for it, of course, with surprising depth. How many more rock puns can I make?
