About Legends of Gems
In the fractured continent of Aetheria, an abyssal corruption from the depths of the earth is silently spreading. This ancient dark energy twists all life, transforming living beings into bloodthirsty monsters. The only things capable of resisting the corruption are the magical gems scattered across the world – relics of antiquity containing pure, uncontaminated magic power.
These gems not only grant the power to manipulate elements and strengthen the body but can also be synthesized to create ultimate weapons against the abyss.
Features classic turn-based combat, allowing for calm planning with every move. No penalty for failure; freely adjust gem combinations and repeatedly optimize tactics until you build the perfect build.
Defeating enemies drops gold and elemental gems (Fire, Frost, Lightning, etc.). Hundreds of gems can be freely combined to create high burst, sustained damage, or special effect builds, offering endless combinatorial fun.
40+ enemy types, each with unique mechanics (gem devouring, evolution, damage reflection, etc.), require targeted gem and relic搭配. 400+ gems, preset groups, and buff systems work in synergy to form earth-shattering ultimate combos.

Legends of Gems presents itself as a deceptively simple fantasy strategy game, but beneath its modest exterior lies a surprisingly intricate system built around elemental gems, tactical experimentation, and roguelike progression. Frosta Studio constructs a world threatened by abyssal forces, but rather than telling that story through lengthy cutscenes or scripted drama, it uses the setting as a thematic frame for its mechanical core: collecting, fusing, and arranging magical gems to build a combat style that evolves with each encounter. The narrative remains minimal, serving more as atmosphere than driving force, yet it effectively contextualizes why the player is endlessly gathering relics of power and facing down monstrous foes across a variety of encounters. The heart of the experience lies in the gem system, which functions like a vast toolbox rather than a traditional gear progression. Each run showers the player with elemental gems—fire, frost, lightning, and many others—and these can be fused, rearranged, or discarded to create builds that emphasize burst damage, layered effects, control mechanics, or specialized interactions. The sheer volume of available gems and relics a…3 found this helpful
I truly enjoy this game. One of the better relaxing games to play. Played the demo and had to get it once released.2 found this helpful
very addictive game. It is simple and fun at normal difficulty levels. basically you manage an equipment in form of icons (stones in the game), those stones can be upgraded in various forms as you buy more of them, different stoneshave different status and skills and you can either specialize or not and combine them in various forms there is a nice middle ground between being simple and complex. tactically is simple, you just upgrade your equipment and attack the enemies when you think that you cannot upgrade more for your money. after that you attack and win (or lose), and if you win you get more money but strategically to manage the long term of your progression is not so simple (do i continue managing my old equipment or do i prepare to switch to a better one?), since the inventory is limited you always have to manage this balance between your current stats and your future improvements if you like games when the goal is fiddling with stats an improving this may be fun to pass a few minutes playing if you lose you die but you get a special resource that you upgrade permanent bonuses (nothing crazy but makes further runs easier at the start) and when you start you can selec…1 found this helpful

An amazing inventory management game. I have played this ever since the demo, and it has been a blast the entire way through. If you have an obsession with numbers, statistics, upgrading and planning fights, then this is one of the best dopamine inducing games you can get, especially with how cheap it is. There's an insane amount of gems to choose from, and each gem is part of a unique set that will give you specific bonuses. While they might seem weak in comparison, even gems you pick up in the first hour of playing can be used until end game, keeping most gems relevant in some way. Art for the items/monsters feels nostalgic and garners a sense of discovery, especially later in the game. The game is receiving updates regularly, and the developer takes feedback seriously. If you're into games like backpack hero, slay the spire or even balatro, I would recommend giving it a shot.1 found this helpful
It is the kind of merge-2 mechanism. Can't say it is all that impressive...good for killing time at best. Overall, it felt like the designer has poor tastes of statistics. At least there is no micro transection involved. The art is fine. There is some issue about the audio after playing a while.
