What an incredible and delightful adventure!
Playtime (normal): 2.5-3.5 hrs, with collectibles/achievements can be 5+ hrs Lifted is a lighthearted side scrolling puzzle platforming adventure in the vein of Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones with a dash of Back to the Future. The characters and dialogue is funny and well written, the story is meaningful, the dynamic between Prof Raventhorpe and Ari works so well, their banter always puts a smile on my face. I'd say that was the highlight of the game for me. The antagonist is a mustache-twirling cliché, but it is on purpose. The Tomb Raider-style escape scenes were so much fun too. The 3D world, the voice acting, the cutscenes and animations are all high quality. Great job on those. There are a lot of achievements and collectibles for you to hunt if that's your thing. The puzzles were fun, but nothing difficult. There is an easy-mode for both the puzzles and platforming but the game is easy as it is on normal. I'd only recommend to play on easy if you are legitimately disabled or have never played a video game before/you are an extremely causal gamer. I'd only criticise two things: 1) Some dialogues cu…

With a cute story, tight platforming, and a slim run time, Lifted is what I consider a perfect weekend game. With a little bit of Back to the Future and a dash of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Lifted will be sure to make you feel nostalgic for those cozy nights watching your favorite movie. The platforming is surprisingly great, with nice feeling jumps, and easy to master mechanics the action will make veterans and new comers comfortable quick. The puzzles are neat and wont keep you stumped for very long, ensuring that you are always keeping a forward momentum. Maybe too brisk at times but as a busy adult I appreciated the pace. The characters are mostly great but they don't stop talking. There isn't a silent moment in the game so if chatty characters are a turn off to you, than keep that in mind. I also was mixed on the character design. There isn't anything specifically awful about them but I feel like the characters came off more Roblox, than Rayman, if that makes any sense. The writing is pretty funny but when there are 10 jokes a minute, they're not all gonna land. What I did love was the games scale. You'll encounter giant mausoleums, and palaces, and scaling them are excitin…

Just finished the game! WOW... I thought it would be a cozy little platformer but nothing so special... and I was wrong. This is a hidden GEM guys. Beautiful artwork and animations, nice story and platforming. But the area that the game shines is in music, voice acting and COMEDY. I've never laughed so hard before. Absolutely great writing and the voice acting is off the roof. Music makes you think you play in Disney movies or in Indiana Jones. Amazing work! I didn't have any technical problems or trouble with gameplay and platforming. The only negative is the length of the game. As a story is enough.. It doesn't leave you with any holes in story or make you get bored. But I would wait to get it in sales as it is around 2 hours. But totally get the game because it's 2 hours of ABSOLUTE ENTERTAINEMENT. I am really glad I got the chance to play it! You don't find that kind of pure entertainment often. Can't wait to see where will Ari and the Professor get in trouble again...or perhaps another beautiful project of the studio!!!

Awesome platformer. But costs too much for less then 3 hours gameplay. And no Ukranian translation.
