What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Bunny Bounce is a light visual novel that delivers on its premise of romantic encounters with minimally clothed characters, though players find it narratively shallow and unengaging. Common complaints include boring storytelling with little substance, generic female characters that lack distinctiveness, and a general sense that the game prioritizes fanservice over meaningful content. Most players suggest approaching it only if you specifically want a brief, low-effort visual novel experience, with several indicating it's not worth purchasing even at a discount.
Not the best visual novel I have played but at least it didn't fall in the "please make this stop category" and "oh my god, this is so creepy" categories. Seems to have 4 endings in total and one of them is so incredibly stupid it is funny again.2 found this helpful
Bunny Bounce is a short anime-style visual novel developed and published by Dharker Studios, a developer known for producing lighthearted romance stories with colorful characters and branching narrative routes. Set within the same fictional world as several other Dharker titles, the game takes place in the Beach Bounce resort, a lively seaside location that serves as the central hub for the story. Rather than focusing on complex gameplay systems, the experience is built around reading dialogue, making occasional choices, and guiding the protagonist through a series of comedic and romantic encounters with the women who work at the resort. The story follows Tomo, a young man who works at the Beach Bounce resort and spends his days helping run the establishment. At the beginning of the narrative, Tomo experiences a strange accident that leaves him suffering from occasional hallucinations and distorted perceptions of reality. This unusual condition quickly becomes the source of many of the game’s comedic moments, as Tomo begins seeing exaggerated or bizarre situations that blur the line between imagination and reality. These hallucinations often occur during interactions with the othe…1 found this helpful
This was one of many games in my library that I have no recollection of buying. I haven't even played the previous two titles so I'm unfamiliar with the characters. Still, even without playing its predecessors, a decent VN should still be able to grab your attention. Bunny Bounce just bored me. Luckily, there's more than one save slot and there's a fast skip, so I could at least pick up the achievements. Honestly, nothing much happens. The sex scenes are fine, not the worse, but not particularly memorable. I think that there might be an adult patch? I don't care enough to work out where to download it. I don't think it would change my overall opinion of this VN. As for the characters, the girls didn't really seem all that unique from one another. Again, I haven't played the previous games, so maybe I'm just missing context. The MC isn't as obnoxious as some male protagonists. He's just a bit bland with a slight touch of smugness. The premise is a little quirky, but I don't feel like it was used to its full potential. There isn't much else to say about it. 3/10
The Weird Hallucinatory/Furry Game in the Trilogy
Bunny Bounce takes us back to where we left off in the second game. Our protagonist is leaving the bank, and by his stroke of luck, gets hit by a car, well, almost. This incident has caused him to see people (mainly his staff), in animal themed lingerie. For example, Yuuki is a bunny, which is where bunny comes from in Bunny Bounce. He also seems to hallucinate certain other events occurring. There are two new characters, those being your nurse/doctor and another woman, who could be seen as a hero. Sadly, no characters return from the first game and another departs from the second game. Of course, the CGs and art are great too, just like the two predecessors, though there are less CGs than the second game. The music is surprisingly not re-used this time, and is all brand new, which is a welcome change, especially since it's still a pleasant listen. This game is definitely more odd than the second game and is maybe on par for weirdness with the first game, but I'll still recommend it, it's not half bad.
