Descent of Yomi

Only played for a bit, but this is definitely a hidden gem for a "souls-like" deckbuilding game. Cards combo well off each other, and you can tell a lot of thought went into the gameplay. Here's to hoping the devs put a little more love into it; it may soon be a great addition for those who enjoy games like StS and Ascenion

The music is excellent, the graphics are quite good. So far I've enjoyed Descent of Yomi quite a bit. The cards combo fairly well, the classes are distinct in how they play, and the battle flow is challenging & enjoyable. My one complaint so far is no obvious way to quit the game through a menu option of some sort. I'm on PC, so pressing Esc worked fine - but having some sort of visual indicator may help.

So far I am digging this game quite a bit. The graphics are on par with a AAA game and the heavy metal Shamisen music gets ya hyped when your in combat. I would love to see a multiplayer version, but not sire how you could, maybe a Descent of Yomi 2. Once thing I would like added is then you look at the names of card you see what the cards do. Not knowing what cards do in the beginning hurts endgame when you have no clue what cards are until you have played quite a few games. Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to see what else you have in mind. Add: the reduce max stamina cards seem to not work as intended.

Amazing artwork. And I love the Japanese mythology theme. Beautiful game.
