About Underworld Re: Card

Japanese Anime Style X Roguelike Deck-building CCG

Reborn into Underworld As A Hero!

"Underworld Re: Card" is a game that combines deck-building and Rogue-like elements. Players are reborn into various races to fight and explore in the fantasy world.

The game refers to the of Slay the Spire and Hearthstone adventure mode, but the difference from the same type of deck-building game is that the difficulty of the game is more similar to the Japanese anime's other world reborn, which belongs to the refreshing feeling of hero, players can easily build a deck with a one-turn-kill experience to challenge all kinds of bosses without losing the challenge.

Secondly, the game has summon pet and partner system. It is no longer a lonely tower climbing experience, but a noisy and laughing life in a lively harem. When encountering a blessing, you can also use the diamonds inherited from multiple reincarnations to change your choices, or even choose all of them.

The current game is still in the development stage. At present, the game has the following contents:
A human brave hero.
More than 120 available cards.
10 different combat encounters.

In future versions, we plan to release the following new content:
Goblin hero, Elf hero, Dwarf hero.
The character class deck for mages and thieves.
The summoning system is implemented.
More unique cards available.
The experience value and level system are implemented.
More combat encounters.

✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the character customization and anime art style, but universally criticize the game as incomplete and overly restrictive. Common complaints include limited card mechanics that lack flexibility, game-breaking bugs like unresponsive inputs and missing music during encounters, missing content shown in promotional materials, and a lack of tutorial or sufficient guidance. Most reviewers feel the game is not worth the current price in its present state and recommend waiting for significant development improvements.

Normally, i do not post negative reviews. But I refunded this one. Never got over three hand drafts before getting stucked. Had to restart the game over and over again. Also the way how you have to play your cards, is rigid. It does not give you a lot of options. A cardgame should be flexible, but this one is not how I want to experience a card game. I will keep an eye on how this game progresses, but at this very moment, it does not deserve your attention.

I want to let it be known, that I do like the character customization as well as the anime art style. I also like the idea of the game over all. HOWEVER, I will say that at the time this game is not worth your time OR the price. a chunk of what you see in the screen shots and videos are not in the game. The forest area uses the same dungeon background, the only party members you can summon are slimes and goblins, and there is only one mode available at the time of me writing this review. I would also like to mention that everytime I end my turn the music turns off for the rest of the encounter. There is also a bug that makes it that at random, the game will not recognize your inputs when your at a campfire. Also as a note for the developer, it would be helpful if you added a tutorial eventually to explain any mechanics that you intend to implement. all in all I hope dev fixes and improves the game, but it isn't worth the price of admission at this time.
