Bleed 2

Literally took everything from the first game and improved upon it so much. The audio and visuals are all improved and it feels even better playing on controller than the first game especially with rumble turned on. Hope to see a new game even in a different series soon.

Fun local coop once you get used to the controls. A tutorial would be nice 🙂 Feels like a cross between Jetpack Joyride and Cuphead. It's not too bullet hell to be unplayable and is quite enjoyable.

It's the genre and the scoring loop that lose me, not the execution.[/b] Played on Steam Deck, started on Hard because I'm reasonably practiced at precision and quick-reaction games. Got through it fine, died a fair amount, and never felt the difficulty was unfair. That part of Bleed 2 is exactly my speed and I enjoyed it. What loses me is two other things: [b]Point scoring.[/b] I'm just not a fan. I play plenty of games that lean this way anyway, but style meters and score chasing are consistently a minus for me rather than a plus. Here it's the core of the long-term appeal, which means the thing the game wants me to keep coming back for is the thing I'm least interested in.
