✦ AI summary

Bobos FunZone is a short horror game lasting around 30 minutes to an hour with decent puzzles and creepy atmosphere, but players find it lacks substance and depth to justify its price. Common complaints include the unintuitive inventory system that hampers gameplay during chase sequences, underwhelming scares, and the overall brevity making it feel incomplete. Most reviewers suggest waiting for a significant sale or recommend it only as a free gift, with some noting it might appeal to children who enjoy mascot horror but not to the general audience at full price.

Okish 15-30 minutes long horror game with some easy puzzles.

Short, not really worth the time. Game kind of goes nowhere, although it was funny how the dad just flopped over. Puzzles were ok, and better than a lot of these thrown together horror games. Ultimately there wasn't enough to the game to make it worth suggesting for the price. If you could put together a decent length game I'd recommend it, but as the game is barely 30 minutes, and the bulk of that is getting chased and (possibly dying) because the unintuitive inventory system makes it a pain to swap, I can't really consider that much of a game. With the good puzzles you have though, I think a fuller game would be fun. But even on sale at 5.24 this game costs more than some Chilla's art games, and offers substantially less.

You're not going to have the best of times playing this. But you also aren't going to have the worse time. It's overall not a bad game. There are some issues but it's not game breaking. Don't expect anything horrifying. The scares are very meh. The puzzles are pretty neat though. Some are obvious, some are nicely thought out. The price of $6.99 might be a little too much. Especially since this game only takes 1 hr to complete.

I could almost convince you that this game was a sequel to the Garten of Banban series and no one would bat an eye on it. But given this was made by 1 person or maybe a small team, it's just good. That's all. The only reason I played this game was because I received it for free. Otherwise, I would not spend my money on this. But, if you have a child who loves Mascot / horror genre, then this is the game for you. Doesn't even take 1 hour to finish the entire game.
