Cool game except the people who run it. GMs do whatever they, no accountability or consistency. updates happen very rarely and when a patch does happen you spend the first week wondering what actually changed just to finally find new stuff and none of it works. Laggy, and you will disconnect a lot, log in under the map and the GMs cant actually do anything unless you just happen to have the disconnect on video. the combat can be fun but everythings so unbalanced its rare that anything makes sense or actually turns out fun. the map looks cool but its pretty empty, especially with barely anyone playing anymore its extremely empty. If your a new person trying it out good luck, off the get your character is years weaker then most people you come across and you'll never catch up or compete with them cause "skill based" only goes so far here

It recently came to light that the development team was actively protecting cheaters. Its no surprise for anyone who had been around but for those curious about the game this is important. as fun as it can be you need to consider how difficult and time consuming this game is. There's no point in saying "that's how it is" because you also have to take into account the now confirmed (by an ex dev) RAMPANT amount of cheaters that are being overlooked because removing them would gimp the population which has already dwindled to 300 or less. It's an amazing game and if it was free I would not care one bit. I would totally suffer that haha But, you have to pay 15 dollars a month and you have to do so knowing that not only is the game against you, SO ARE THE DEVS. On top of that, depending on your distance from the server you might feel inclined to get a program like exit lag which does help. What you as a player are asked to invest is only rewarding if you can get to enjoy the full breadth of gameplay, which is entirely guarded by a dwindling community of psychopaths. The game is supposed to be brutal, there's no argument there and its enjoyable. But, doing this game solo requires you to…

Star vault really fumbled this one, this could be the best of its genre - But the star vault team is too busy protecting RMTers and cheaters. But every game has cheaters and RMTers, sure. Not every game has a careless dev team that do not actually understand or care how there game works, no balancing, no content, there's nothing, they ask the players what they want and just ignore them completely.
