This arcade adventure stands out with its massive open world to explore, quirky animatronic characters, multiple transportation options, and the freedom to play however you want—grinding for tickets, delivering newspapers, or just kicking back at the carnival.

Explore realistic arcades with machines inspired by modern favorites and swap your tickets for prizes at redemption areas. Head to Larry's Arcade to jam with animatronics Teddy and the Ticket Eaters, or try UFO Arcade's space-themed games, Laser Tag, and Indoor Go-Karting. Don’t miss the ‘90s-style indoor mall with its own arcade, food court, shops, and even a cinema to watch your own movies. Just watch out for the minions – they’re big fans of Teddy and can challenge you in Laser Tag! Looking for more adventure? Make a splash at Lenny's WaterPark or show your skills at mini-golf and RC boat racing at pirate-themed One Eyed Billie’s. And don’t forget the Traveling Carnival with 20+ classic games, rides, and new prizes. For a challenge, Survivor Mode lets you start with limited funds. If you just want to relax, activate Birthday Mode and live the good life with unlimited cash courtesy of Uncle Phil. Play however you like and enjoy your time at the arcades! Fill your belly with soda pop and cheesy poofs leaving sticky fingerprints on over 50 different games and machines. There are plenty of ways to travel around the island. Take the bus, your very own golf cart, bike or Mom's van. Or maybe walk to burn all that fast food you just had at the mall. Be careful though, there is lots of highway traffic and tourist activity on the island so make sure to keep off the roads.

✦ AI summary

The Coin Game was beloved during early access for its fun exploration and arcade gameplay, but players overwhelmingly report that the full release has become unplayable due to severe bugs including constant getting stuck on objects, broken ticket counting mechanics, and major performance issues even on low settings. The game's quality has degraded so significantly that multiple players describe it as a broken mess compared to its earlier version, with some seeking refunds, making it not recommended for purchase in its current state.

Such a shame this game has gone to the dogs. In early access me and my daughter loved this game. It was a fun world to explore. Play games, work jobs, smash the arcade and get tokens. Even in early access is was infinitely better than the broken mess that it's become. An the worse thing is, it's so hard to explain to my daughter why it doesn't work or feel the same way anymore.

What happened to this game? I rarely encountered bugs and it ran great despite me playing on a slow laptop. Playing it now feels like your playing a bootleg of the old game. Game breaking glitches occur so often that its unplayable. If you touch literally any object you get stuck on it. You can't even get your tickets counted because if you do you get stuck at the machine and cant move. Whenever I got stuck somewhere I tried button mashing every button on my keyboard and it did absolutely nothing. The only way to get unstuck is by restarting the game and even then your likely to get stuck again 5 minutes later anyway. The game also runs horribly now, even on the lowest graphics settings. This means any games where timing is important are impossible to play and the others are painful. Funnily enough the game that seems to work the best is bingo, but even then half the time you click on a number it registers as you clicking the one next to it instead. What could the dev have possibly changed about the game to break it this badly? It feels as if it was completely remade in a different engine or something. I hope whatever they did is fixable and we can get the old version back some day…
