Being a Princess is not an easy job. Being a Queen is even harder. Especially when you're only fourteen years old, and the reason you've inherited the throne is that your royal mother has just met an untimely end.
Now power is up for grabs. You may be the official heir, but much of the country's nobility would love to steal the throne for themselves. Aggressive neighbors will take advantage of any weakness to enlarge their borders at your expense. And that's not even mentioning the magical dangers which are lying in wait...

Long Live The Queen is a challenging visual novel raising simulator with charming humor and engaging character writing that rewards players willing to engage with its complex systems through multiple playthroughs, though its strict resource management and mood-balancing mechanics create a steep learning curve that some find frustrating rather than fun. Players consistently praise the game's personality, humor, and replayability, with particular affection for the protagonist, but others find the gameplay loop restrictive and tedious, especially if you want to achieve specific endings.
Just not a fun game in any way. Play Volcano Princess, I was a Teenage Exoocolonist, or Magical Princess instead if you actually want to enjoy a raising simulator. This game is just straight ♥♥♥♥ and it astounds me that people actually find this sort of gameplay loop enjoyable. Trying to balance the mood just to be able to trains necessary skills is miserable, you are locked into playing one specific path if you want to succeed. I do not recommend this heap of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It doesnt even end the game when I exit, I have to hard stop steam for this game to stop running. I wish I had played this when I had bought it a year ago so I could have gotten it refunded, the $3.19 I paid for it was $3.18 too much.1 found this helpful
