amazing tron style boomer shooter. absolutely worth the price

I don't remember how I got this game in my library, but after a few hours of playing, I just can't get behind the design choices behind level selection, weapon upgrade menus, how progression is done through the game etc. I get it, you gotta kill enemies with style yada yada, but the combat just isn't engaging enough or the progression doesn't give direction for me to want to play more. I'm just finishing a level easily and thinking 'Am I having fun here?'. I do like the art-style, all be it too samey, and the lack of any spectacle to areas and poor level design brings the game's score down in my eyes despite a great complementary soundtrack. All in all, I can't recommend this game with an overall rating of 4/10.

[h1]Negatives[/h1] - Poor user interface. - Poor feedback as to what's doing damage to you. - Unique aesthetics don't mean much when it comes at the expense of player visibility.

The style and effects are just jarring. Other than that, it feels very basic

The controls make this game unplayable. Steam wont let me change them either. I hate to leave bad reviews, but here we are....
