Classic game. Nostalgia.

Amazing game!! I adore old PC point and click adventure games so this one really hit the spot! Unfortunately tho.. I had to continue playing this outside of steam and open the game with just the .exe file because opening it from Steam the 2nd time I tried to play again after a break, it completely crashed every time! Maybe dont get it on Steam to be safe!

Recommend not buying. Game will not run on WIN10 or WIN11 machine. If you fiddle with the files and compatibility mode you can get a windowed version to open, but it is a small window and cannot be resized.

Animations are entirely too fast, making the monkey section impassable. Was really excited to replay this classic favorite, only to be disappointed the game is broken.

Items disappear from inventory. Cannot resume a saved game. Refunding.

A classic from another time, a standout in point-&-click adventure games, and an all-around great product! Some of the voice-acting is spotty, but that often just adds to the fun. Even the illustrations they use to cut corners & avoid rendering 3D cutscenes are artistically inspired & charming (and makes fanart that much easier to make, hehe). Overall, a win for both gamers & lovers of public domain fanfiction lol To play, you'll need to look at the file itself rather than the Steam page, which is disappointing in some ways -- no achievements, access isn't as easy as it ought to be, playtime isn't recorded -- but it does feel scrappy, like you're legitimately playing an old game. Plus it's easy to figure out how, especially if you're already looking through reviews for this game.
