Twisty's Asylum Escapades is an extremely crap first person shooter made with the craptastic garbagefest that is Torque3D, and features awful low poly "art", more bugs than actual gameplay, a floating brain, and a terrible premise. You float around a grid level and fight stuff with some badly done adventure game elements. While you're basically supposed to escape, it's really not that easy to work out what's going on because the game really is just bad. Apart from the ability to customise your controls and resolution and some graphics tweaks, there's absolutely nothing going for this game. It's just so badly made I have no idea where to begin. Janky controls? Bad graphics? Bugs? Abysmal framerates even on high end machines? From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions…
