Please FIX the Controller in STEAM DECK...been trying to play this game for so long...

Let's preface by saying this game is pretty good. It's extremely worth the price and worth a good 10-20 hours of game. But for the game itself: It's a bit buggy sometimes, the exploration can be dizzingly confusing, and going for any obscure achievement is hard beyond belief if you just try looking by yourself. Even the guide can be unclear. All in all it's a bit messy. And there are a number of potential softlocks. However, it's an extremely charming game with a pleasing environment that challenges a casual player just enough. However, the real star of the show is the abilities. In particular, the standout few. Some abilities are useless or honestly just another ability but slightly different. but OH. MY. GOD. The fairy (default, so even in the pacifist run, you have an OP and extremely fun ability) and stone abilities make this game worth replaying over and over again. The fairy is especially a novel ability unlike any other I've seen in a game. You'd think literally dropping your weapon would make for a poor design choice but NO. It's so genius how it forces you to to think about your movement and combat in such a complicated way. It feels incredible to land the right angle…

The mechanics of this one are a bit hard to wrap your head around at first but once you pick it up, it starts to feel much more natural. Besides, I applaud the devs for doing something unique and unconventional, it really makes this game stand out. I definitely found it pretty tough but I'm also not the most skilled player ever if I'm being honest, so it may be more of a user error thing. The pixel art was the biggest highlight for me, absolutely gorgeous with tons of small subtle details and animations that always go a long way into selling the world and characters! The gameplay and platforming is also well optimized, nothing feels too floaty or too stiff. I did enjoy my time with this game, even with the difficulty, and I'm very impressed with what the devs were able to create here!
