These nights in Cairo

The story was entertaining and had moments that made me wish it was longer.

A bit short, but I liked it

Honestly, it's not the absolute worst VN out there, but eight bucks is pretty high for this amount of content, but the big thing I have to dump on this VN about is its advertising video. Usually, in a VN like this, a character featured in the advertising video alongside what may seem to be some kind of romantic scene usually hints that they're going to be a character who gets a full route within the game. Such it is with Sotis, the only featured female character. You'd think it would mean that there's a full route for her in the game, but nope. About halfway through, you get the option to have a bit of a lesbian fling with her, but it's just a fling with a cheevo attached, and it's just... it's kind of a crappy thing to do to people outright looking for games with wlw and yuri routes.

I'm always up for a short visual novel and this one is perfect. I really love the MC and the story is good. I also do love how you can get good endings where you don't end up anyone

Nights in Cairo. Nothing too special, a few language hurdles, some bland unmoving art while paragraph after paragraph goes by. Some choices don’t overarch too well, plot points are thrown around willy-nilly. While I wasn’t expecting the moon I expected a bit more polish. The sounds and soundtrack mesh awkwardly and I never truly felt immersed. The plot of Ramessu being the old pharaoh who wants revenge and wants to return to the past was neat at least. The men are tolerable at best, not the love interests exclusively. The gay looking guy gets shot. The lesbian option is set up as blackmail and not love and is mocked for it. All in all, not great, I wouldn't buy it again.
