New Review: So I had a lovely discussion with the developer, and went through a play of the campaign with him alongside. He showed me a few things that were not immediately obvious in the playthrough, and were not taken into account on the tutorial video in the game. With this new information, I was able to complete the campaign mission. He also has taken onboard a lot of feedback (30 points I believe were mentioned) so there may be a new update coming soon with this feedback to hopefully give other players a boost in getting the most out of this game. When it 'clicks' and comes together, it makes sense to me, and hopefully it will do to you as well. I am pleased about the constructive discussion we had, and the steps forward me as a player have taken, and he as a developer has taken from this. I look forward to a bright summer future. There is a lack of "information" about how to play the game (especially, about what to consider in detail and what means what), or probably I just don't get it. And there are some issues as well. But the developer implemented my resolution very quick after my request (it was unplayable without), and I want to support indie developers, so I giva a positive anyway.

Game full of bugs sometimes cant even join a server or host a server, after a few minutes it random crash, or laggy. Please Optimize your game and debug it

Please reimplement an option to adjust the terrain by mousewheel like in the original game. Performance has been cut to 60 fps, why? Please don't change too much in comparison to the original game. Apart from this, nice remake.

A great and fun game, especially for those nostalgic for Holiday Islands like myself. Unfortunately the game becomes unplayable when getting close to 10000 tourists. Until the performance issues are solved, I cannot recommend this game.

This might be a personal problem, but the tutorial for this game makes it extremely difficult to figure out how to make any given building profitable. I keep building stuff next to each other that is supposed to have synergy, and yet everything costs exponentially more than it makes. I don't really understand how the proximity of shops and attractions to hotels is supposed to improve their earnings, which seems like a tutorial problem. Whatever I'm supposed to be doing, I'm clearly doing it wrong, but the tutorial and various graphics UIs don't make it any clearer what I should be doing instead.
