Harvest Days: My Dream Farm

Sad to say. this game had potential. Truly sad that it has been abandoned by the Devs. Last update was 2024. We are now in 2026 and many questions remain unanswered since 2022. I do not recommend anyone buying the game. its unfortunate. It is EA. and it will remain so.

Tldr: Dont buy it. One of those sad stories of early access and a 1.0 wile still being early access content wise. Wow... Im disappointed. Massively disappointed. I bought this game when they came into EA. I really hoped it would become something great. I hoped for a stardewvalley in 3D. I hoped for a cozy farming game. What i got is a clunky feeling mess wich doesnt get you into playing even more thant 10 minutes. Since i bought this i couldnt spend a whole hour in this game since it doesnt do anything for the player to stay. The state in wich this game is in with 1.0 should have been the state they went into EA with. After that time i feel like nothing has changed except the versionnumber. There is still no shading, the animations are still ass and the game feels clunky. This right now feels like the bare minumum for early access. For this game not to be a great scam we need it to feel good. You cant tell me as a Dev that you play your own game and say "Yep thats 1.0 worthy." While you have nothing pleasing to your eye, nothing pleasing on the gamemechanic side and nothing pleasing in sound, grafik OR story. I know how hard it is to develop a game. Not with unity but…

I had 1 game first time played it poorly. Second time I skipped welcome party. you can only converse 1 time with ppl and there no other conversation after that so its limited. I guess it means foraging, harvesting wood and stone and fishing is very important. You have make profit. I do desire map marker points. Like: You don't need vehicle to get around. You can swim. You don't reset when you touch the water. Dislike: vehicle has limited options, you don't get barn or hen house as gift for being only second farmer in area. Generalized Opinion: Its too diamond in rough it needs more items, hybrid crops and lab to create new crops the other is flower crops so there beneficial insects could thrive and fertilizers you can create. Other daisies deter certain insect but can die after 2 days of no water, you should be able harvest it from wild and get sapling. to grow on farm. Daisy can deter bug population and snails. tree saplings don't drop from cut tree - you get seed and you can't plant on farm land. i love this game! On pc only!!! tried it on xbox doesnt work properly, and now after playing it on here found out just how much it doesnt work on xbox.

Very nice farming game, very much like stardew but in 3D. I wish there is more depth in the game, really missing the caves! (hope this will be implemented later). Still unable to move/remove the chest. If you like farming/fishing/mining etc you will have fun. Hope the dev's will continue to work on this one to make it even better.

Boring, essentially empty world, badly-rendered NPCs. The only interesting thing about this game are the town scooters you can use. Otherwise, many other games do what this game tries to do a thousand times better. Definitely wish I hadn't purchased.
