Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition

For a Harvest Moon game, which are normally a lot of fun, this one is pretty disappointing. Progression is super slow and rife with tons and tons of needless RNG. Villager friendship is capped at 2 of 5 until you beat the main story. New ores are added to the total pool as you go down the mine levels, so you cannot go to a specific floor to target a specific ore. The UI feels like a smartphone app and item management is clunky. Crop tooltips only appear in the encyclopedia or the shop, not on crops or seeds themselves. And all items are capped at 99 carrying capacity when you're expected to use them in the hundreds. Most items have multiple quality ranks and you cannot mix ranks when turning in quests or repairing anything, so you need to collect 5x of a single rank, not any rank. This Harvest Moon feels like it was made by people who have never played a farming sim before.

love all harvest moon games i loved that i could use my mouse

cant figure out how to use solei, on my pc, but great storyline and making money and friends is pretty cool, farming is great as well

I love taking my chud gem son into the mines on the daily, child labor is an awesome dlc… guys this harvest moon is so awesome

Havent played a Harvest Moon in years. Have this one for 3ds. Number one...its on a big screen and I can see it better!!!! lol Its a lovely game to relax and play with quest to do, collect to your hearts content and the story line is great. As in all HM games when first starting watch your stamina. But will get better as game progresses.
