one of the cutest farming games ive played in a while, had such a good time with this one!! you can build and customize your own farm from scratch, grow crops, take care of animals, explore different areas and collect all kinds of materials to craft new things and improve your little farm. I really liked how theres always something to work towards, with new areas and activities to unlock as you progress, while still keeping that relaxing and casual feeling. its a really charming game with lots of freedom and content, perfect for anyone who loves farming sims and just wants to spend hours creating their own little paradise!!

This is the first story of seasons/harvest moon game I ever played and I must say it didn’t give me the best impression. If you have played stardew valley or animal crossing you’ll be right at home. Sadly, this entry in the long running franchise feels half-baked and has some truly questionable decisions that make the whole experience that more painful. It’s fun up until the point where you fully renovate the town, then it becomes a mind-numbing grind. I love getting up in the morning, talking to my soulmate, checking up on crops, collecting and refiling makers, taking care of animals, possibly harvesting mushrooms or honey, occasionally getting fruits from the trees. Then in my spare time either fishing, mining, cutting, chopping and talking to the people. Ultimately hitting the hay and calling it a day. Rinse and repeat. Speaking of people, every once in a while there are special events that you can attend, the execution is terrible tho, you’re only forced to watch what’s happening for the most part. One thing that the game is supposed to do better than everybody’s favorite stardew valley is the story - it’s better sure but not a whole lot, many of the characters are simply t…

A really relaxing game, but that's it. At day 7 i found myself wondering what to do. Couldn't think of anything. There is not much to do except for the basic farming game stuff. I did not feel challenged by the game to reach a certain goal. There are a lot of cutscenes in the game which lead to nothing and make no sense. I bought the DLCs, those do not add much either. There is nothing special about the islands except that there are new characters.

call a Harvest Moon game it is but it's very different from the ones I played Whereas there is a town with everything in Bolt on festival days everything closes which refuses to tell you in the start so remember this as it will be a good thing to remember when comes festivals it also allows you to upgrade your tools which is good and has several different minds which is also good and has different bottoms of the mind which have different minerals within As for growing you can cook with them and use some flowers you can regrow up to three times which is quite good As for your boning everything they pretty much give you it you only need the materials to make it into a reality The start you own a tent but it reminds me of Animal Crossing in the sense you have to purchase every step of the house with ingredients I have no idea who I'm going to marry as of yet and I am playing as a female as that's what I am So I'm looking at the bachelors and deciding while I do the things that I need at the moment I am between upgrading my house for the 3rd time which is the 2nd home from the tent and getting the whole stable completes And I've only just upgraded all my equipment to the Silver grade. …

This game is so fun and relaxing, I tend to spend the entire day just saying one more day and I'm logging out, but end up spending the entire day playing

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town was actually my first proper experience with the series, and honestly? I had a blast with it. First of all, I’ll say this straight away: I’m really not a fan of that chubby, baby-faced character style, I personally prefer more anime-looking designs, especially in these kinds of games. But even with that, I ended up enjoying the game so much. The whole experience just felt very softly put together in a nice way. Building up your farm, improving your house, exploring the town, doing quests, getting to know the people, fishing, collecting things, slowly developing everything around you… it was a lovely, calm experience. I spent a lot of hours on it. This is definitely for people who want that peaceful cozy farming-sim life where you can just disappear into a little routine and take things at your own pace. Nothing too stressful, What surprised me is that I later tried other Story of Seasons games, including some that came after this one, and honestly they were such a disappointment to me. It made me wonder if they somehow poured all their good ideas into Pioneers of Olive Town and then became lazy afterward, because some of the others felt …
