Midori no Kaori

I really liked Midori no Kaori for what it is. It has such a cozy, relaxing vibe that makes it really easy to just sit back and unwind while playing. That being said, I don't think the game has enough to keep me coming back over and over again. After a while, it started to feel a bit repetitive and I found myself getting bored fairly quickly. Maybe someday I'll come back to it and start over, because I did genuinely enjoy the atmosphere. I just don't see myself returning to it regularly. Overall, a nice little cozy experience, but I wish it had a bit more to offer.

nice little idle-esque game that gives me more time to slap the dirt stick

This game starts out very cute but you quickly realize there is an automation option which takes away the joy from playing and rushing to feed your customers. The challenge is gone. In free build mode, the object snapping became quite frustrating to build. If there is one thing people want from a cozy building sim it's the ability to build with ease. Also the frog riding by with mini quotes didn't make much sense. It felt vague with no story... I am disappointed - I love frogs and ponds and Asian cuisine and at first glance it appeared to check my boxes but unfortunately game play was ultimately disappointing.

Very relaxing game. Very cool game. If you're looking for a sim where you manage a restaurant I'd recommend not to buy this game for now as it is more of just a building game and has a very simple system in terms of restaurant managing. Still the graphics are amazing and music is beautiful. Great if you want a cozy game to unwind with

You can really tell this game was made with a ton of hard work and genuine love for the craft. I got completely hooked for hours. The aesthetic satisfaction of putting together all those izakayas is honestly off the charts. The animation is especially gorgeous.
