About Go Fight Fantastic

Go Fight Fantastic is a 1-3 player hack n’ slash starring a crew of interstellar smugglers, led by their space-dog captain Bowie. When they stumble into an invasion during a mission to Bird Planet, they become the only hope of this once peaceful world.

Team up in co-op (local and online) or switch between the different characters on-the-fly in solo play.

Story Mode

Fast-paced. Light-hearted. Vibrantly hand-drawn. Fight across treacherous marshlands, steep summits and picturesque settlements and meet an imaginative cast of friends and foes along the way. A unique touch is added to each playthrough by a degree of randomized level composition, enemy encounters, and upgrade drops.

Horde Mode

Fire up captain Bowie’s combat simulator and plow through an endless alien assault to climb the online leaderboards! Use the strengths of all your characters to prevail, pick powerups between the waves, and repeat. The longer you stay alive, the more challenging it gets.

Build Your Crew

Play as four different characters, each representing their own playstyle, and tailor them with persistent Meteorite upgrades found throughout the game. Want a Healer who can deal some serious damage? Or a Striker with poisonous blades? Have at it!

Features:
  • Choose from 4 characters that best suits your gaming style
  • Engage in fast-paced combat with 1 to three players online or locally
  • Explore the beautiful, hand-drawn vibrant world of Bird Planet
  • Combine heroes' attacks into devastating combos
  • Use Meteorites Upgrades to boost your stats and change the effects of your abilities
  • Test your skills against waves of enemies in the endless Horde Mode

Got three codes to play with friends online during a stream for review. Pros: - Amazing hand-drawn animations and character designs - Great music - Fantastic and fluent hack-and-slash experience Cons: - Online co-op connectivity issues with 2 or 3 people. - Does not work with Steam Remote-play either. - Does not react to game start during online co-op. I would love to see this game succeed because it is an incredible passion project for the small team. The game needs some polish, and the issues at hand need to be worked on. Regardless, I would recommend this game for solo play, but I wouldn't if you're looking for a co-op experience.

First up, I recieved this product for free. Sadly, Multiplayer (online, not local) is not functional to the extent my friends and i have hoped for. We could only get two people to connect, the third had an error were they joined, couldnt select a character (they didnt even get a screen for the character selection) and no buttons worked for them (Escape etc.). We Tried everything, Reloading Steam, Restarting the PC and Router. Nothing worked to resolve the issue. When we said "okay, lets just play as 2 people" it wouldnt even let us start. We couldnt hit Enter to start a mission or Left Trigger/ L2 to ready up. I am a bit shocked honestly that this game, even if made by a smaller studio, is this messy regarding multiplayer. I hope the devs read this and can work on the game as it looks really cool and looks really good to play with other people, but with the current state i cannot recommend this game, IF you wanna play with Friends.

The game is super charming and a fun play! Played it with a friend, and we did have issues connecting at the start but it sorted itself out and we managed to finish the game in one sitting! The characters are diverse in play style, the writing is fun and the captain is a cutie. Also the goo ladies motivated us to keep going till the end! https://youtu.be/ZgdVUeAzD-I

Initially, Go Fight Fantastic took me by surprise with its unexpected narrative, immediately grabbing my attention with its striking visual design. The sheer amount of action on screen, coupled with the immersive quality, made for an engaging first impression. I particularly appreciated the distinct art style that permeated the game. The ability to switch between three unique characters added a compelling dynamic to the gameplay, and for the most part, their controls felt fluid and responsive. While I initially struggled a bit with the archer character's abilities, once I grasped her mechanics, she became a powerful asset, especially for dealing significant damage against large groups of enemies. Beyond the gameplay itself, the music significantly contributed to the overall atmosphere, creating a strong and enjoyable vibe. For me, the solo experience has been surprisingly robust and entertaining. Although I've come across some feedback regarding potential issues with the cooperative mode, I haven't had the chance to test it personally. However, based solely on my time playing alone, Go Fight Fantastic stands out as a worthwhile and enjoyable adventure, proving to be a strong title…
