- This game is a passion project of mine, with close to two years in development I'm proud to release this game. I tried making this as accessible as possible to anyone, and the price shows that. This game isn't $5 because it doesn't merit a higher price, it is $5 because I want people to experience this game I have put thousands of hours into developing. Every single purchase is seen by me, and greatly appreciated, any feedback, suggestions, or questions sent in our discord are responded to quickly by myself. Thank you for considering and/or getting this game and supporting my dream! -

I actually really enjoyed it! At first it seemed like it was just going to be a chill idle game where you just sit back and mine, but it turned into much more than that. Exploration is encouraged in a really good way, and there are a lot of surprises that I wasn't expecting (unique biomes, monsters, etc). Overall, I highly recommend. The developer also seems to update the game frequently which is very nice!

Voxel Miner: Dwellers of The Deep takes the familiar satisfaction of digging through a block-based world and combines it with character progression, combat, procedural exploration, and a surprisingly involved science-fiction premise. Developed and published by Luke Matheson, it is clearly structured as a personal indie project rather than an attempt to compete with enormous sandbox productions. Its appeal comes from taking a simple activity, mining deeper and collecting resources, and attaching enough progression systems to it that every expedition can contribute toward making the player stronger and more efficient. The basic loop is immediately understandable. Players descend into underground environments, gather resources, encounter hostile creatures, and invest what they earn into different skills and abilities. The upgrade system gives mining an important purpose because resources are directly connected to advancement rather than existing simply as collectibles. Choosing which improvements to prioritize adds a light strategic element, particularly when deciding whether to emphasize survival, combat effectiveness, or general efficiency. At the same time, the design does not con…
