It's Raining Fists and Metal is the definitive hybrid 2D retro pixel arena brawler and Guitar Hero rhythm game that nobody wanted or asked for. Gameplay consists of your basic Smash Bros ripoff arena fighting (but with worse graphics) combined with QTE/rhythm keypresses as you can only attack if you hit the attack at the same time as the note... which really falls down hard because in a fighting game your hand eye co-ordination on your positioning vs the opponent is critical... and how can you do this when you also need to look at the rhythm note bar along the top? Yeah, you can't... the fundamental game concept is broken. But at least there's symmetry... the technical implementation is equally garbage. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. This game is the next best thing after an epic wall of death!

Nice game! I wasn't able to hit any opponents in rhythm with the music because I suck but I still had a great time playing this game.

Brilliant! Soundtracks are amazing! Original metal songs in 8-bit style pulls you in a death stage where the audience want to see nothing but fists and metal! Very funny gameplay, seems tough in the beginning but easy to get to and to enjoy with friends! Don't mind if you are on fire, just have a cold beer!
