The game is really not as bad as the reviews are saying. It is a pretty good and relaxing experience. I am playing this after finishing the game Freediver Triton Down and wanting more diving. Playing this on quest 2 with Virtual desktop and it is a really immersive game and the environment are beautifull. With some good headphones, you feel like you are underwater. The control could be better but with a combination of joystick for moving forward and gesture for going upward and downward, it works pretty well. At a discount price, you should buy it if you like diving and miss the underwater world.

Deep Diving VR is a virtual reality underwater exploration experience built around the fantasy of becoming a scuba diver without leaving home. Developed by Jujubee S.A. and published by Salient Games, it takes the fundamental ideas of underwater simulation and reshapes them around VR immersion. Instead of relying on combat or rapid progression to hold attention, the game encourages patience, observation, exploration, and appreciation of environments that most people will never experience firsthand. The core attraction is simply being underwater. Players descend into a selection of aquatic environments, swim through submerged landscapes, encounter marine animals, investigate wreckage, and search for noteworthy objects. Virtual reality adds an important sense of depth and scale to these activities. A creature swimming nearby can appear surprisingly imposing, while looking into deeper water creates an effective sensation of entering a vast and potentially dangerous space. When the lighting, water effects, scenery, and marine life come together, the game can deliver genuinely atmospheric moments. There is more purpose to each expedition than unrestricted sightseeing. Diving involves …

This is pretty fun. If you want a mobile-like diving game with VR controls this isn't bad. It's pretty immersive but not perfect. Swimming with motion controls works but it's a little bit jerky. It works but makes the game feel more arcade like. You still have a lot of control. Can swim all around in circles with a combination of swimming motions and the joystick with no motion sickness. The graphics are pretty nice. Arcadish more than sim but good enough. Framerate isn't super high. For me it defaults to Ultra settings with reproduction. Not much of a problem. Compared to World of Diving believe it or not this game feels like more of a sim thanks to the controls. I think it's actually more fun too.

The developers made the achievement of making this game absolutely BORING, TEDIOUS, and hard to understand instead of a relaxing experience. Not only they require you to retrieve an insane amount of useless items, but no explanation is provided on basic a ctions like opening a container or fighting with a knife!

This game is just a compilation of bad ideas. I get "damaged" by simply gently colliding with some in game rocks even though there is no body awareness besides the heads and hand in VR? What bullocks. The game shows poor game design from the get-go. And how do you actually put your knife back in the belt position? The game doesn't tell you, that you knife, your only weapon in the beginning, simply drops deep in the ocean the moment you let go of it by the side of your waist. You don't lose essential items just because you drop them. Learn from AAA developers like Valve!!! JUJUBEE!!!
