This game is a blast! I enjoy the cozy warm vibes, and the actual imersion this game gives me. It gives me that sense of dopimene rushing around getting all the dishes done and ales poured, while still feeling the cozy chill vibes when doing so, it delivers the perfect balance between the two. I havent finished the game yet, but I just had to write a review on this hidden gem, and for a first game these devs have alot of promise! Will update when completed.6 found this helpful
Really enjoyed this game. Cozy setting and fun cooking and table service with a cool english theme tavern. Pros: - loved the rats and the fire place. - fun cooking the different meals and having some funny jokes etc in there. - awesome with the Christmas theme being able to decorate the tavern. - enjoyed getting through each level felt great achieving this and seeing the tavern money go up. - mini games were great fun. - commentary was funny and good entertainment. - cool sound track with a cozy feel. Cons -seems pretty obvious that this is the devs first game. A few bugs along the way and sometimes it felt like it was missing instructions so took me longer to figure some stuff out. So I did have to do a couple of restarts but having the saved game really helped. Overall I tihnk the games current price is really good value for money.3 found this helpful
Hey! I have about 6 hours in this game as of now, and I'm already on day 20. FIRST of all, I LOVE the two calm gentlemen standing in the corner throughout the game- they are my absolute favorite! Very funny, very Pratchett-like. I enjoy the stop-motion style and aesthetic that goes with this and there are hilarious tavern games towards the end of the evening (omg the slapping and honking one!) which I often look forward to. I've played a lot of similar shopkeeper games for the past year, and this one is becoming my favorite. Of course, some things to improve the gameplay with: Adding faster movement/walking speed as something to unlock through progression. It's quite difficult to navigate with so many patrons who just wanna eat and drink and be merry (read: demanding). I've already bought all the tables available, but the pathways are often blocked as the queuing adds up. When the tavern is full, there were times I couldn't finish the day because the crowd npcs were stuck at the doorway exit :( When random events occur (east Londoners! Rat attack!), there's so much going on in the crowded space that when it's done, there would be one or two NPCs left that I couldn't get rid …2 found this helpful
