Idle & Incremental Lovers doesn't recommend DataFall: [i]Soundtrack is a banger, neon color palette is beautiful. Sadly, it fails gameplay-wise. You can favor a playstyle (idler or clicker), but it's in both cases a repetitive grind with boring upgrades.[/i] + As mentioned, soundtrack and color palette are great (so I really wanted to like it, but I couldn't). - Upgrades, both in the prestige system and on the market, are purely of the "numbers go up" type. There is absolutely no change in gameplay through the whole game. - You're supposed to get 3 exciting new stuff after 3 prestige milestones, but they (relic forge, black market and paragon lab) are disappointing and uninspired. - Pacing is too slow. - I pushed to the last prestige milestone, hoping for something big to happen, but it falled flat. There is no ending, the grind goes unrewarded. *There are two types of people in this world: one, who can extrapolate from incomplete data, two.* Hope this review is helpful! Makes the numbers go brrrrrrr
A little idle clicker in a different universe, nice short game which will bring your some fun. Worth it
it is basic and fun. good to check on sometimes and go on with your daily pc work
This incremental game picks up speed pretty quickly after just a few basic clicks. Your main goal is to collect data by clicking anywhere on the screen with either mouse button, and then spend that data on upgrades. Early on, most of your progress goes into data miners, which start generating data automatically so you don’t have to keep clicking all the time. There are several types of miners, and each one can be upgraded many times, although every purchase makes the next upgrade a bit more expensive. You’ll find all of these automation options in the factory tab. That said, clicking never really becomes useless. You can land critical hits that boost how much data you collect, which makes active play feel rewarding. Also, there are occasional power-ups flying across the screen and a dedicated click tab where you can improve click strength, increase your critical chance, and unlock a few extra perks that make each click more impactful. The mining tab works a bit differently. Instead of data, it uses nodes. Fortunately, you can convert data into nodes at a rate of one hundred data for one node, so it’s easy to keep things moving.
