Hauntii

I’m using a translator for this review, so please forgive any awkward phrasing! I’m sure other reviewers have already mentioned it, but the world-building and artwork are breathtaking—both beautiful and adorable at the same time. The visuals remained stunning throughout, and I got completely immersed in the game. Perhaps because the game places such a heavy emphasis on its world and aesthetic, readability was a bit low in some areas, which made those parts pretty challenging. By the way, playing without a controller makes the game much harder. I actually switched from keyboard & mouse to a controller mid-way through. It took me about 15 hours to finish everything, including 100% achievements, so it felt very fulfilling. A huge thank you to the developers for creating such a beautiful and fun game!

As a sort of bullet limbo adventure occasionally drawing from the spirit of the 3D Mario games, the whole of Hauntii is occasionally eclipsed by the sum of its parts. That said, its outer layer more than makes up for its muddled and frustrating gameplay; it's a feast for the eyes and ears, and its story is possessing.

A nice little puzzle platformer with light combat, very reminiscent to Super Mario 64 but 2D. The story is very touching and the ending is very fitting. I'd consider it fairly short at around 10 hours (in which I got 75% of the achievements) and you can do it even faster if you don't look for extra collectibles. Still, I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a "find the things and explore the interesting world" kind of game.

Beautiful, gret music and sound and fun to play. The level of craftsmanship is amazing. Finally Hauntii is a emotional ride that I will remmember.
