Same result every time. The elephant in the room with this game is that you hear a scream and all the backpack items are covered with blocks. WHY? This is a pretty good game, but the developer doesn't understand the elephant in the room. The game was very easy to understood the first time I played it. Combine items, always have your hero armed, and the more strength you have the more weight you can carry. Wear a belt to carry your health and mana potions, yada, yada, yada. There are other games in this genre, and I actually believe this game is better, but it's obvious there wasn't any play testing involved. This game has so much potential, but the developer has to address the elephant in the room. Still, pretty addictive as I put in 8 hours, and the price is fair. So much potential wasted. INVENTORY QUEST HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL! I see the developer is constantly updating, so possibly one day, he/she will address the elephant in the room.

It's an intriguing concept based on the auto battler genre, I just wish it was more... realized. I had fun playing but felt like I hit a wall after a couple hours of gameplay. Most of my time was spent frantically trashing junk items in hopes that I don't miss an actual useful drop. 95% of the combat revolves around the weapon, you barely have time to read items before slapping it on your character assuming any stat increase is an upgrade. This game gets a recommendation because the Dev is cool and continues to work on the game, so I'm hoping to see some improvements in the future. If the inventory was larger, I feel that the gameplay would be more strategic as you would have time to evaluate what you put on your character, and maybe take 50% of the junk from the pool because 85% of the gameplay is moving stuff into the trash.

A very simple game, which can be compelling enough for awhile if you have a heavy bent towards optimizing a stat curve. Very little is explained outside a brief tutorial but it is easy enough to understand. The hero classes play the same with the one distinction being some classes can be pushed more heavily to use magic (INT) versus physical weapons (STR). Depending on your build you will be placing minimal emphasis into some of your stats. It tries to make inventory management more interesting than it usual is by adding reaction events which can be a bit dubious at time. For example you will have enemies that remove your gear and stuff it in your pack, which would be fine except if you don't have the space you just lose the gear. This wouldn't be so bad except you have a situtation with a boss that causes massive weapons durability problems, which means you have to fill your pack with weapons, which causes a design cheese into design cheese scenario. Then there's the fact that the enemy is simultaneously attacking you and stripping you naked at the same time which feels a bit conceptually silly.

I think it needs a lot of tweaking, there is a hook to it but, fall short after a short while. Feels like you can't do anything but lose.. incredibly frustrating tbh.

Not even worth the 2 € sale. Stupid simple gameplay with ugly graphics and big illegible pixel fonts.

I don't understand who this game is for. There are really only two mechanics. Equipment degradation, set to "how the ♥♥♥♥ is this supposed to be fun" speeds, and managing the inventory which it seems like they set quite small to try to create tension in the idea of like, "do I save this item or scrap it, can I afford the space?" and like, there is absolutely none of that. Weapon stats might be related to like luck stats and stuff, but the actual damage of them seems to be related only to progression and weapon class, so if you find a sword, no matter the rarity, later in the game, it's almost certainly better than whatever you found already because damage is obviously the most important stat on your weapon. You'll need to get used to it anyway since your equipment breaks at light speed. But you can't like, not pay attention and let it auto battle for a while either. For one, you're doing runs so your character might die, but also because if you don't scrap the crap falling off the baddies then it auto scraps anything else they drop, with no attempt to sort at all either, so you can't really play the game, and you can't not play it either. Both systems seem to exist to c…
