Red Blue Cell

I really enjoyed playing this game. The weapon system is really cool switching between color red and blue. Great music and snappy controls. I highly recommend it.

Great shmup

It's a decent game, very inspired by Ikaruga, taking its polarity system but overall much easier and scoring is signficantly more straightforward. It kinda wants you to do the opposite of what ikaruga does and instead of hitting the enemy with the opposite polarity for double damage, you just kill them with the same polarity because that's how you score in this game. while damage isn't really affected, at least not that i could tell. The achievement names being straight up Ikaruga stages is kind of funny to me. It's an alright game and the price is rather low so I would recommend giving it a shot, especially if you like Ikaruga already.

If you hope to one day beat Ikaruga (like me), Red Blue Cell is an amazing training tool for learning the mechanics without being too punishing. Besides the end boss making me want to rip my hair out, this was a pretty chill experience, as far as bullet hell games go anyways. The soundtrack is incredible and reminds me of old Sunsoft games on the NES. Short but really fun!

fun shoot em up. runs great on steam deck. It's in the style of NES/SMS games.

My introduction to the shmup genre, and I really enjoyed it! Soundtrack absolutely kills as well, so for a low price it is very worth it. The replayablility is good for me as well, but this may just be because I am bad at the game.
