I was enticed, hence the acquisition. I greatly enjoyed my initial playthrough of Orbital Bombardment. While the concept of the game is explained by its title, the arcade-style campaign offers increasingly intricate levels to beat in the form of planets to bombard. On one hand, I am a connoisseur when it comes to lore and worldbuilding, and took notice of Orbital Bombardment's simplicity in this area. However, the straightforwardness was one of the games greatest traits! As I circled the planets of the galaxy and laid waste to the alien infrastructure, I enjoyed that new target types simply emerged— no explanation, backstory, or unnecessary filler— only bombardment. And while the campaign is certainly not impossible, I enjoyed the challenge of some of the planet/ship combos, and having to think and adjust my approach upon repeat attempts to beat some of the levels. As a final note, I need admit that I neglected the in-game music for some of my own choosing (loud rock or riddim dubstep) as I attacked the alien targets, though this only enhanced my enjoyment of the gameplay.
