How does this not have more reviews? I don't play this type of speedrunning games much, but I came across this one recently, and it sucked me in right away. The controls are super tight, the visuals are stylish, the music really hypes you up, and it's overall polished as hell. The game design is very focused and elegant, you basically just need WASD and the dash button. Gets you into a hyper-focused flow state very quickly. Of course, you die a whole lot – but you get to try again immediately, and levels are super short once mastered. My main gripe is that you have to beat certain times in enough of the previous levels before you can proceed to the next one. I've never been a fan of this mechanic, as it feels like padding the runtime. If I beat a level, just let me play the next one. If I want to go back and replay previous ones to improve my score, I'll do that. All in all, I highly recommend Nirih if you're looking for a pretty brutal, addictive, arcade-y, fast-paced little game to sink your teeth into for a few nights. (PS: I could really see this working on mobile and in VR, too.)

It's a VERY addicting game, was surprisingly fun to retry the same level hundreds of times to reach diamond rank The gameplay really reminded me of USUM's Ultra Warp Ride, so if you enjoyed that, both the demo and full game are absolutely worth checking out Hope to see an update in the future that add more levels

Cool game with a pretty solid gameplay, art direction and soundtrack. And it does not overstay its welcome! There are some issues I ran into, however. I had audio issues where the music kinda started to deteriorate after about 15 minutes of playing, and overall achievements were completely bugged for me and I did not unlock a single one. Could be some issue when it carried over my demo save, I don't know though. And my one complaint with the game itself is that difficulty and also the gameplay can feel a bit inconsistent. That's the only problems with an otherwise solid, fun, and over-looked game.

This game is seriously underrated! It’s easy to learn but hard to master. You keep getting better, and if you get stuck on the harder levels, you’ll *breeze* through the earlier ones. And when you come back to that hard level later, you’ll usually beat it on your first try. I like!
