In the year 2049, the once-promising lunar research base, named "AstroGenica Lunar Nexus," has become a haunting beacon in the desolate expanses of the Moon. Serving as humanity's gateway to the cosmos, it now stands as a chilling testament to an experiment gone wrong.
As the protagonist, you awaken in the cold sterility of the medical bay, disoriented and alone. The eerie silence is broken only by the hum of malfunctioning machinery. An unsettling darkness envelops the lunar base, casting shadows that seem to writhe and pulse with malevolence.
Exploring the abandoned corridors and chambers, you discover cryptic remnants of the crew's activities – hasty recordings, fragmented logs, and ominous experiments conducted in the name of advancing human knowledge. It becomes clear that the crew's scientific pursuits unleashed an ancient extraterrestrial force, one that feeds on fear and has twisted reality within the confines of AstroGenica Lunar Nexus.
The nightmare deepens as you encounter grotesque manifestations of the crew's worst fears brought to life by the insidious lunar entity. Each step forward reveals more about the base's descent into madness, and the horrifying fate that befell those who once called it home.
Armed with only a flickering flashlight and your wits, you must navigate the increasingly nightmarish lunar landscape, solving puzzles, avoiding otherworldly threats, and piecing together the fragments of a dark cosmic secret. The lunar base holds the key to your survival, but it also harbors the eldritch horrors spawned by humanity's reckless curiosity.
As you inch closer to the heart of the lunar nightmare, the line between reality and delusion blurs, and the chilling truth awaits discovery. Will you unravel the mystery, or become another victim of the lunar entity's insatiable hunger for fear? The fate of AstroGenica Lunar Nexus rests in your hands, and the lunar nightmare may leave scars that transcend the boundaries of space and time.

Small and intensive walking sim, 3 hours playtime for max but it has a considerable content, nice UE graphics, a followable story, some good made scary moments, even using a laser pistol in the second parts, not too much to read, some fancy riddles and the main goal, to battle an AI mainframe. A few minor bugs are in, auto saving works fine, but don't be somewhere distant when quitting, as last save will take it again. Graphic setting may tend to keep the medium set, requires readjusting to higher at every resume, recommended to limit the FPS rate in line to your max specs. Overall, a funny play with little of everything, without doubt, a recommendation for moon / lunar fans.
Lunar Nightmare

Positives:
+ Cool idea + Retro feel + Acceptable graphics + Ok storytelling + Good voiceacting/voiceover + Very nice sounds and music + Quite atmospheric + Parts of the design + Puzzles
Negatives:
- Extremely low FOV and no way to change it - Head-bob and camera shakes that cant be disabled (nausea warning!) - A lot of bugs and glitches - Some sub-par game mechanics - The moon rover feels so-so to drive - Settings that resets after a while (very annoying) - Unstable fps (set shadows to low in graphics settings when encountering the worst parts) - Extremely unstable in general (you get fatal errors and sudden quits all the time, fix below) - Most of the shadow and lighting effects are quite awful looking (feels very unnatural and flat) - The flashlight is almost useless (makes it hard to see anything in the darkest parts) - Unnecessary and badly executed jumpscares that dosent add anything to the game or story - If you get stuck because of bad level design or gliches, you must restart the whole game - The ending is too similar to other titles from the same developer - Very short (over in about 2-2.5 hours)
Conclusion:
Wh…

hmmm short sci-fi horror game that really conveys a sense of loneliness and that “something is wrong here.” The base itself is dark, quiet, and simply frightening. You walk around with a flashlight... SURE!!! there are a few moments when you jump out of fear, but mostly the game just plays with your mind, making you expect something bad to happen. The sound design is very strong — music and ambient noise play an important role. huh Man, I love these retro blasters! Nostalgia! enjoy & fun lunar ggggg game

It's dark, scary, and the flashlight is your best friend. The moon does not forgive mistakes
