About Play Twice

This is no ordinary Sokoban Puzzle.
Play Twice offers a double the fun twist on the classic puzzle!

First, enjoy the challenge of moving the yellow blocks to press the yellow buttons. Brown boxes can be pushed to clear your path and solve the puzzle. Clear the level, and you’re done... or are you?

Here’s where it gets interesting.
The same board begins a new challenge: this time, guide the red blocks to press the red buttons!

Success isn’t just about clearing the first playthrough—it’s about planning ahead for the second.
And as you progress through the levels, things won't always end so simply... What awaits you is a secret only for those who play.
There are over 30 levels. The game is compact and well-organized, making it perfect for those who want a quick sense of accomplishment!

A more strategic puzzle experience, unlike any Sokoban-style puzzle before, awaits you.
Now, enjoy a Sokoban-style puzzle that you can play twice!

The concept of the game is interesting. Each level has a you on the ground floor, and another you on the second floor (on walls). First, you need to play the ground floor, pushing boxes to open up a way to reach your exit. Second, you need to play the second floor, reaching your exit by walking on the boxes left from your first try. It's an intriguing mechanic. But I finished it in 17 minutes. Yes, that playtime is a 100% completion. There's way too little content here. It feels like a PuzzleScript demo, given a better 3D graphics -- which I don't think the game needs -- but leaving the puzzles untouched. If this was a free game, it's an easy recommend. But I don't think there's enough here to justify paying for the experience.

Really cute and fun sokoban puzzle game with a fun twist! Though at the risk of being a broken record alongside everyone else, it was just far too short. I 100% the whole thing in 40 minutes, and if you ask me a game should have at least a "1 dollar per hour" type price tag. I still recommend it though, since I want to see the developer work on more projects like this. I would love to see this game get updates or a sequel with more mechanics and puzzles! Keep it up!

A delightful 30-60 mins puzzle game with an interesting mechanic. Worth a look, and something I would love to see expanded into more puzzles.

QUICK REVIEW RATE: 8/10 PRICE: Full Price PUZZLE DIFFICULTY: Mostly easy, with just a few levels that took a few extra tries to complete. OVERALL: A creative puzzle game, although short and easy, I'm still glad I played it. Definitely recommend.

Okay so I got this game on sale for about $2.50, completed in about 42 minutes, and there are 33 levels total. Personally this feels like a demo to me (the actual demo is 4 levels) and the puzzles require very little brainpower. I had a good enough time and I like the concept and design so I'm rating this positively, but just be aware what you're buying. Not recommended for hardcore puzzle fans.

The good - this is a really smart twist on a basic sokoban - having to play each level more than once is nice melon-twister, forcing you to play several moves ahead in your mind. While the presentation is basic, there's decent QoL, with unlimited undo and instant resets. The bad - I was done in 28 minutes, all 33 levels solved, and was left wanting more.
