About The Black Ice

The «Vostok» scientific complex in Antarctica goes silent after discovering an anomalous structure in the ice—a mass of black ice containing a substance of extraterrestrial origin. At first, the discovery was considered a scientific breakthrough, but very soon the excitement turned to panic and fear.Polar explorer Oleg is an experienced explorer of the Antarctic wilderness. He responded to an SOS signal to investigate the situation. He has years of expeditions, deadly routes and encounters with the cold that breaks not only the body but also the will. This brave polar explorer, who set out to face the storm, doesn't yet know what awaits him…Alexey is a special agent for the large corporation "Novy Svet," who arrived to document the virus leak and fully neutralize its consequences. Behind his calm exterior lies a man who has seen too much to believe in happy endings. His mission: gather evidence, clean up anything that could pose a threat, and prevent the nightmare from spreading beyond the station. What awaits you:
  • Two playable characters, each with their own story. But sooner or later, these stories will intertwine.
  • An atmosphere where you're constantly vulnerable.
  • Limited inventory. Choose wisely what you bring.
  • Varied and challenging puzzles.
  • Diverse enemies with their own unique characteristics.
"The cold is not scary when the heart is warm."

The game is amazing but the IA is kinda low tier, music is 10, ambient is 10 where is the map? where is the map? where is the map? where is the map? where is the map? where is the map? where is the map? where is the map? where is the map? for real, you need to implement a map. Good luck with the release!

The Black Ice was an awesome experience from start to finish. If your a fan of the classic Resident Evil games , you'll definitely love this. The game has that same tense, creepy atmosphere where your constantly on edge, solving puzzle's, and trying to survive 10/10.

Too short for the price. Steam should regulate these developers from releasing their short content.

The game has potential but I can't really recommend this game in its current form. The game has the bones of a good game. The idea, atmosphere and music are very good. I love all the homage to The Thing, and the idea of a cross of The Thing and Resident Evil are right up my alley, but this game just falls short on both. The Thing worked as a movie because of the paranoia. You don't know who's human and who's not. I will openly admit I did not play very far into the game but there was no sense of paranoia like that at all. It seems the Thing reference is snow. The Resident Evil part also failed. I had double enemy spawns the entire time. Enemies would just appear in front of me. I'd get hit with no reaction. Every enemy took 4 pistol shots regardless of where I shot them. One zombie I lovingly called "Bill' spawned and never reacted to me the entire game. I kept walking by him to say hi. The blind enemies would attack me, I'd shoot them and they'd just run away. None of the enemies seemed to have any logic to them and while comedic during my stream it just wrecked the experience for me. I think the game has potential but at the time of this review I just can't recommend i…
