A top down twin stick RPG with elements and base management. This game feels like it was incredibly rushed and unpolished. The tutorial tell you everything but teaches you nothing about the mechanics of the game. It throws it all at you after a short story beat before you even play the game while the player knows nothing about what is going on. A slower and more drawn out tutorial over multiple runs would have been better with the current one being a toggleable overlay to have when needed. The generation of the maps feels sporadic and thrown together, like there wasn't much thought put into the random generator. The assets are mixed with different art styles for everything from the background and level assets, enemies, spell effects and to the art making it all feel out of place. The obvious use of AI exacerbates this problem. Everything feels weightless. There is not feedback from ANYTHING, lacking both proper audio and visual elements. There is no indication from landing hits or being hit besides the damage indicator or the loss of health respectively. Traps just show up at your feet.
